General information

For the first time, the 5th Symposium on Agricultural and Agroindustrial Waste and the 9th International Symposium on Agricultural and Agroindustrial Waste Management will be held together.

In 2023, the 4th Symposium on Agricultural and Agroindustrial Waste, organized by the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA), took place in Mendoza, Argentina. Held under the theme “Towards Rational Waste Management”, the event attracted over 350 participants from academia, government, and industry across the country.

Meanwhile, the 8th International Symposium on Agricultural and Agroindustrial Waste Management (Simpósio Internacional sobre Gerenciamento de Resíduos Agropecuários e Agroindustriais – SIGERA VIII), organized by the Brazilian Society of Specialists in Agricultural and Agro-Industrial Production Waste (SBERA), was hosted in Caxias do Sul, Brazil. The symposium centered around the theme “Science as the Basis for Development”.

2025 edition
